• Long, reddish brown, semi-flat insects
• Noticeable pincers
• Can grow to 1 inches

Where You'll Find Earwigs

• Dark, cool, damp conditions
• Around sinks and bathrooms in summer
• Hiding in newspapers, furniture and baseboards
• Common in southern U.S.

How To Prevent Them

• Keep mulch dry and shallow
• Keep compost piles away from your home
• Seal gaps around doors and base of house
